My work captures scenes that feel as though they exist in the recesses of memory—images that accumulate day by day only to fade away, yet feel strangely familiar, as if I had seen them before. I create these pieces by utilizing the forms and negative spaces extracted from these landscapes, hoping to preserve the sense of fulfillment that will endure as time passes.
Through the layering of pigments and the tactile quality of the materials, I hope viewers will contemplate the very essence of these scenes as they gaze upon them.
