ARTIST INFORMATION
1968年埼玉県に生まれる。93年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科彫刻専攻修了。近畿大学准教授。
現代人にしか持ち得ない感覚を、量産品が持つ特有のデザイン要素と自身の実体験とを重ね合わせ、視覚化する事を試みる作品を制作。
2002年キリン・アート・アワード最優秀作品賞受賞。05年「6thSICF」準グランプリ受賞。97年より国内外の個展、グループ展多数。
Born in Saitama, Japan in 1968, graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 1993 with a degree in sculpture. Associate professor at Kinki University.
Creates works that attempt to visualize the senses that only modern people can have by overlapping the unique design elements of mass-produced products with his own personal experiences.<
Winner of the 2002 Kirin Art Award for best work, and runner-up prize at the 6th SICF” in 2005.
