ARTIST INFORMATION
金工作家。1992年福岡県生まれ、富山県在住。2015年富山大学芸術文化学部卒業、貴金属装身具製造職に従事後、2017年に作家として独立。2024年より富山大学芸術文化学部非常勤講師。
金属の板から様々なものを生みだす池田晴美。鍛金の絞りという技法を主に用いて、平らな板から深さのある器物の制作を得意とする。植物をモチーフにした装飾性の高い蓋物や銅瓶から日常生活に寄り添うシンプルな小鍋やケトルまで幅広く制作をする
Metal craft artist. Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1992 and currently lives in Toyama, Japan.
Graduated from the School of Art and Design, University of Toyama in 2015, and after working as a precious metal ornaments manufacturer, became independent as an artist in 2017. Since 2024, he has been a part-time lecturer at t the School of Art and Design, University of Toyama.
Harumi Ikeda creates various objects from metal plates. She specializes in creating vessels with depth from flat sheets, mainly using the technique of forge metal shibori. She produces a wide range of works from highly decorative lids and copper bottles with plant motifs to simple small pots and kettles for everyday use.
