ギャラリーコンセプト
Art+Craft Gallery蚕室 は東京・西荻窪で2013年から美術・工芸とジャンルを問わず企画展示を開催しています。素材や技巧、表現に挑戦せざるを得ない作家の試みに注目し、そこから生まれる視点と思考を作品とともに紹介するべく活動しています。
日常に優れた美術・工芸作品を体験することは普遍的な価値や柔軟な思考を手に入れることだと考えます。次世代に向けて伝え残すべきものを作家とともに探求し提案してまいります。

“What We Face”
We play different roles and identities in our daily lives.
When we confront and immerse in a work of art, we become aware of, and encounter our hidden self through its expression. In other words, it is an excellent mirror reflecting ourselves.
We invite you to see a group of works that confront the present in the context of time spent working with traditional techniques and materials.
Gallery concept
Since 2013 Art+Craft Gallery San-Shitsu has held art/craft exhibitions irrespective of the genre in Nishiogikubo, Tokyo. Focusing on artists who cannot help but experiment on challenging materials, techniques or expressions, we operate to showcase their works of art together with their perspectives and thoughts born from such creative experiments.
We believe that daily experience in excellent art-/craftworks will lead us to both universal values and flexible thinking. Working with artists, we will explore and propose what to pass on to the next generation.
