About exhibited works
Works by three ceramics artists―Aoki Takefumi, Uchida Midori, and Jang Dayeon―will be exhibited, as well as modern and contemporary craft works.
Gallery concept
We handle a wide range of modern and contemporary works of art, mainly from Japan with some international names. Our strength remains in KOGEI, a unique genre of art in Japan, which can be identified as an art form created by dedicated craftsmanship. The concept of KOGEI itself has been established in the Modern era, in the early twentieth century, which marked a significant turning point in the field of fine art as well as applied art both in the East and the West. We try our best to explore this particular genre and to discover where a dynamic artistic creativity and expression beyond any media really lie.
