郷土玩具や童話・SFファンタジーなどに登場する動物や人などのモチーフを組み合わせ、一つの木の塊から彫り出します。荒々しい彫跡と共存する色彩で、見る人が思わず微笑まずにはいられないファンシーでポップでシュールな作品を制作しています。
Sculptor. Lives and works in Osaka.
Combining motifs of animals and people from local toys, fairy tales, and science fiction fantasy, he carves them out of a single block of wood. With colors coexisting with the rough carving marks, he creates fancy, pop, and surrealistic works that cannot help but make the viewer smile.
