ARTIST INFORMATION
Yuki Nara (b.1989, Ishikawa, Japan) is an architect who graduated with a first-class honors degree from the Department of Architecture at Tokyo University of the Arts. As the son of Ohi Chozaemon XI, the potter of Raku pottery with a history and tradition of 350 years, he is also a ceramic artist.
Nara focuses on the “fusion of architecture and ceramics”. He creates his authentic hand-made ceramic works with the help of the most advanced technology such as 3D CAD and programming that are commonly used in architectural design.
