Chung, Yongjin

Artist Chung Yongjin received a B.A. in metal craft in the Department of Craft and Art at the College of Design of Kookmin University, completed the jewelry design courses at the Gemological Institute of America, and received an M.F.A in metal craft at the Graduate School of Art in University of Wisconsin, U.S. He has produced works in a new attempt for metal design, considering the design and production of works by tapping on 3D digital technologies as a metal craftsman. He has participated in many solo and invitation exhibitions, and group exhibitions at home and abroad. As a professor at the College of Design of Kookmin University, he has conducted diverse researches: metal craft, industrial metal, 3D CAD education and practicum, products where 3D printing is used and writing related books.
