The Korea Association of Art and Design

The Korea Association of Art and Design is an academic organization.
Works made are usually the result of strong research. The main concept is thought through and then the idea is delivered through a process of understanding the material. The organization has been in existence since 1997 and we combine design with craft. Our main objective is to understand material and skill.

About exhibited works

The exhibition will focus mostly on reinterpreting form. We will present about 10 artists working with metal, wood and ceramics. The works are contemporary expressions based on narrative experiences of makers teaching in universities in Korea.
